We are thrilled to announce the upcoming PMI KC Professional Development Day (PDD) on October 17, 2024. This year’s theme is “Elevate Your Skills: Harnessing AI Innovation.” As we delve into the exciting world of artificial intelligence, we invite dynamic and knowledgeable speakers to share their insights, experiences, and expertise.

Why Speak at PDD?

  • Impact: Reach a diverse audience of project management professionals eager to learn and grow.

Topics of Interest: We welcome proposals related to AI innovation, project management, and skill development. 

Some suggested topics include:

  • Ethical considerations in AI implementation 
  • Leveraging machine learning for project success 
  • Case studies on successful AI projects 
  • Upskilling for the AI era 

Submission Guidelines:

  • Deadline: Submit your proposal by August 15, 2024
  • Format: Choose from workshops, panels, or keynote presentations. 
  • Length: Sessions can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. 
  • Submit: Email your proposal to Speakers@pmikc.org. 
  • Speaker Prep:  Sept/Oct

Call for Volunteers

As we gear up for the exciting Professional Development Day (PDD) on October 17, 2024, we’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and make this event a resounding success! Our theme this year is “Elevate Your Skills: Harnessing AI Innovation,” and we believe that together, we can create an unforgettable experience.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  1. Event Logistics: Help with event planning, registration, and coordination. 
  2. Session Moderators: Facilitate smooth transitions between sessions and engage with speakers and attendees. 
  3. Social Media Ambassadors: Spread the word about PDD through social channels and live updates. 
  4. Tech Support: Assist with audiovisual setup, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless virtual participation. 
  5. Networking Hosts: Foster connections among participants during breaks and networking sessions.
