Topic: Strategy Realization through Objectives and Key Results and Connected Work

Overview: At Planview, we recently embarked on a traditional 3–5 year strategic planning exercise with one critical new ingredient.  We made connecting our strategic plans to our work and aligning our teams and value streams to our strategic outcomes a key element of our approach. The journey hasn’t been easy, requiring culture change, strong lean-agile leadership, and sophisticated tooling, but we have had tremendous initial success and are now executing to our strategic plan with full visibility, alignment, and adaptability along the way. 

Join Steve Wolfe, Enterprise Agile Coach at Planview, and Ronnie Pinkerton, Director of Solution Architecture as they share some of their biggest learnings which can apply to any enterprise company This session will help guide Agile coaches, Agile Delivery Leaders, Agile Transformation Leaders, VPs of App Dev/Software Delivery in how to incorporate effective strategic planning muscle into their organization. Ronnie Pinkerton is the Director, Solution Architecture at Planview. Ronnie's been a practicing agilest for more than 12 years and has more than 25 years of technical and coaching experience in a wide variety of industries and technologies. Ronnie holds numerous SAFe certifications, and at Planview, Ronnie and his tean work with both current customers and prospects to build the platform architecture that solves organization's biggest scaling and work management problems. 

Steve Wolfe serves as an Enterprise Agile Coach at Planview. Steve's unique blend of experience and expertise in marketing, business operations, software development, and product management has enabled the successful adoption of Agile practices at a number of leading companies spanning multiple disciplines and value streams.
