Professor of the Practice for Project Management
Dr. Gary Broils is a Professor of the Practice for Project Management at the University of Kansas-Edwards Campus in Overland Park, Kansas. He’s a seasoned program and project management professional with more than 30 years of experience in management consulting, information technology, and military service in the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Some of the companies Dr. Broils has worked for include Accenture, RSM, Service Management Group, and H&R Block. He’s a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile leader. Dr. Broils also works freelance as a management consultant playing a pivotal role in advising executive client teams during project delivery and on the development of strategic roadmaps. His project portfolio is rich and diverse, encompassing program and project management, strategic assessments, roadmap development, strategic planning, business analysis, performance benchmarking, data-driven decision-making, action planning, and benefits realization planning.
