Walter Almon

Walter Almon
Walter S. Almon, PE, PMP, is involved in project management in industry and academia. He was an adjunct professor in project management in the graduate program at University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and guest lecturer. Walt joined Project Management Institute in 2007 and is Past President of both the Alaska and Austin Chapters. He has taught PMP exam prep courses and lectured in project management Professional Development seminars. Walt is currently the PMI Region 6 volunteer. Walt’s work experience includes small project management, managing multi-million-dollar projects and programs, and engineering software design. He was an individual contributor and supervisor in chemical plants (Conoco, DuPont) and oil & gas facilities (Conoco, BP). Education: BS Mechanical Engineering. MBA, MS Project Management from UAA PMP certification from PM. Professional Engineer Oklahoma and Texas.
