AI Governance in Healthcare Transformation: A Project Leader’s Playbook for Responsible Delivery

Ways of Working

Overview

Healthcare organizations are increasingly adopting AI to improve operations, patient/member experience, care coordination, automation, analytics, and decision-making. However, in healthcare, AI adoption cannot be treated as a simple technology rollout. It must be governed responsibly because project teams are often working with sensitive data, regulated workflows, complex stakeholder groups, clinical or operational risk, and high expectations for trust, transparency, and compliance.

Learning Objectives

  • Attendees will be able to identify the key governance, risk, data readiness, and stakeholder challenges that affect AI-enabled healthcare transformation projects.
  • Attendees will be able to apply a practical project leadership framework for integrating responsible AI governance into healthcare delivery initiatives.
  • Attendees will be able to define decision checkpoints, project artifacts, and value metrics needed to support responsible and measurable healthcare AI implementation.
