PMI KC Mid-America Chapter's 30th Anniversary Celebration The KC Mid-America chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023. The chapter was founded in 1993 by a group of project managers who were passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with others. Over the past 30 years, the chapter has grown to become one of the largest and most active PMI chapters in the world. The chapter's mission is to promote the project management profession and to provide resources and support to project managers. The chapter offers a variety of programs and events, including: Monthly meetings with guest speakers Educational workshops and seminars Networking opportunities Volunteer opportunities The chapter is also committed to giving back to the community. In recent years, the chapter has contributed to Youth & Social Impact initiatives at a local High School. The 30th anniversary celebration will be a chance to celebrate the chapter's past accomplishments and to look ahead to the future. The event will feature good food, live music, networking opportunities, and a celebration of the chapter's history. About the PMI Chapter PMI KC is a chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). We are a community of project professionals who are dedicated to advancing the profession of project management. We offer a variety of resources and programs to help our members develop their skills and knowledge, and to connect with other project professionals.
